Porcelain Powder Test

IntelliFinishing had the opportunity and challenge to test our conveyor in rigorous conditions for a global appliance manufacturer. This test was to see how the chainless power & free conveyor would hold up to powder overspray and if it would affect the functionality of the spinning tube drives.

The test was performed over a period of 100 operating hours with porcelain powder sprayed directly onto the spinning tube and conveyor every 5 minutes. Not only did our conveyor perform consistently, but during part of the testing, actually had a greater pull force with the additional traction the powder provided. When the components were disassembled, no powder residue was built up in the operating components, wheels or bearings of the trolley nor in the bearings of the conveyor.
